I guessed at a third of it
Last Saturday I sat the written exam for the big-data certification. The studying all happened on the commute, and it meant guessing at a third.
Last Saturday I sat the written exam for the big-data certification. I guessed at about a third of it.
I had not studied much. The exam asked exactly that question. What the score sheet will tell me is a confirmation of something I already know.
The plan was the commute, and nothing else
I wrote it down here two weeks ago. Three books in the bag, one of them this exam, and the commute is the one stretch of the day nothing interrupts — so that is where the studying happened, and nowhere else.
Three books in one stretch, and I expected enough out of it to pass an exam. It does not add up that way.
The empty slot is still empty
The same entry recorded one more thing: the morning an injury emptied, and nothing moved into it.
The exam came after that. The slot is still empty. There was one place a day to move the studying into, and I did not move it.
The next sitting
Whether I sit it again depends on the result. What needs deciding is not the number of hours, but which slot.
